Mujahid told reporters that Afghan troops now control all official borders and have stopped most illegal activity.
The Taliban Defence Ministry said Afghan forces launched “successful and retaliatory operations” to defend national sovereignty.
Officials warned that any future violation of Afghan territory would face a “strong and decisive” military response.
Pakistan has previously targeted alleged militant bases inside Afghanistan’s mountains, leading to recurring border tensions.
