Guéhi’s Late Winner Lifts Crystal Palace to Fourth With Dramatic Win Over Fulham

Crystal Palace continued their impressive rise under Oliver Glasner, climbing to fourth in the Premier League after Marc Guéhi sealed a 2-1 victory over Fulham with a late header at Craven Cottage. The win marks Palace’s third defeat inflicted on Marco Silva’s side within the year, adding further frustration for the Fulham manager.

Eddie Nketiah opened the scoring on his first league start of the season, finishing coolly after smart buildup play from Adam Wharton and Tyrick Mitchell. Fulham replied with a stunning equaliser from Harry Wilson, who curled in a brilliant outside-of-the-boot strike after a slick one-two with Raúl Jiménez.

Fulham threatened but struggled to convert possession into clear chances, while Palace defended firmly and grew stronger late on. The decisive moment came when Guéhi beat Kenny Tete to a near-post corner, heading home in the final minutes and sparking celebrations among the travelling supporters.

The victory keeps momentum rolling for Glasner, whose side remains competitive despite a heavy match schedule and the absence of Daniel Muñoz. Fulham, meanwhile, lament missed opportunities and now face concerns about creativity and their position near the bottom half of the table.

Palace’s win adds to growing optimism in south London — and with January approaching, fans are beginning to wonder how far this team can go.
